EXVOTO DEDICADO A SAN BENITO

EX-VOTO TO SAN BENITO PAINTED ON TIN WITH THE FOLLOWING LEGEND:

Marcelino Torres.

*****************************

I was working, cleaning graves in the early hours of November 1st, when I got the biggest scare of my life: I saw with my own eyes a deceased person open the lid of his coffin, trying to climb out. Right then and there, I prayed to Saint Benedict to protect me as I ran back to my little shack. Nothing happened to me, for which I am infinitely grateful—and I pray with all my heart that I never have to go through an experience like that again. — Marcelino Torres.
