EXVOTO DEDICADO A LA VIRGEN DE LA SOLEDAD

EX-VOTO TO VIRGEN DE LA SOLEDAD PAINTED ON TIN WITH THE FOLLOWING LEGEND:

*****************************

I dedicate this small retablo to the Virgin of Solitude for the eternal rest of my migrant loved ones who have passed away. Every November 2nd, I set out an offering for them, as I feel that this brings them back home—just like all those fellow countrymen who left to seek a better life for themselves and their families "on the other side" and died far from their homeland. Mexico.
