Mis padres, Angelita y Ramiro, se conocieron en Xochimilco, ya que mi padre era trajinero. Ahí nació su amor y se comprometieron y era su lugar especial. Dedico este sencillo retablito a San Antonio, santo patrono de los enamorados, por su descanso eterno. Ahora, en este Dia de Muertos, estoy seguro que regresarán a revivir su amor. CDMX.

My parents, Angelita and Ramiro, met in Xochimilco, where my father worked as a trajinero (boatman). That is where their love blossomed and they became engaged; it was their special place. I dedicate this modest retablo (votive painting) to Saint Anthony, the patron saint of lovers, for the sake of their eternal rest. Now, this Day of the Dead, I am certain they will return to relive their love. Mexico City.
