Mi gallo "El dorado" salió muy lastimado en una pelea en el palenque y no se me curaba, le recé con mucho fervor a San Francisco de Asís de Real de Catorce que me concediera el milagro de sanarlo y en unos días se recuperó y hasta se puso más fuerte, ya que una semana después le ganó al gallo "El azul", que era muy bravo y ahora mi gallo es el mejor de toda la región, por lo que le dedico el presente retablito con mucha devoción. My rooster "El Dorado" was badly hurt in a fight at the bullring and wouldn't heal. I prayed fervently to Saint Francis of Assisi of Real de Catorce to grant me the miracle of healing him. In a few days he recovered and even got stronger. A week later he beat the rooster "El Azul," who was very brave, and now my rooster is the best in the entire region. Dedico este exvoto a San Patricio por la existencia de Spider-man. Desde niño he sido fan de este fantástico superhéroe creado por Stan Lee y Steve Ditko, ya que coleccionaba sus cómics y ahora, que mi hijo sabe leer, le ha fascinado conocerlo y ya comparte mi admiración por este personaje.

I dedicate this ex-voto to Saint Patrick for the existence of Spider-Man. I've been a fan of this fantastic superhero created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko since I was a child, collecting his comics. Now that my son can read, he's fascinated to learn about him and shares my admiration for this character.

Desde que mi prima se vino a vivir a mi casa se la pasaba de coqueta con mi novio y hasta se ponía sus minifaldas cada vez que él venía a visitarme y estaba de encimosa con él. Le agradezco de todo corazón a Santa Bárbara de que mi prima por fin se regresó a vivir a mi ciudad y que mi novio no le hizo caso ya que era un riesgo para nuestra relación y eso me incomodaba mucho y ahora me siento más tranquila y feliz.
