Por mi colonia se habían perdido algunos perritos ultimamente y varios días antes se perdió el "Firulais", el perro de una señora muy argüendera que, un día se le metió la loca idea en la cabeza de que yo era el que secuestraba a los perros para hacerlos tacos y llegó a golpearme con otras vecinas chismosas. Agradezco a San Francisco de Asís de que el Firulais apareció antes de que me destruyeran mi taquería y que se quedara mi reputación por los suelos. Ramón López. Ciudad de México.

A few dogs had recently gone missing in my neighborhood, and several days earlier, "Firulais" went missing. He was the dog of a very violent woman who, one day, got the crazy idea in her head that I was the one kidnapping dogs to make tacos out of them, and she even beat me up along with other gossipy neighbors. Mi hermano y yo salimos una mañana a pescar cuando de repente que nos salen dos tiburones que hasta nos dejaron blancos del susto, por lo que imploramos en ese momento a San Pedro que no nos desamparara en ese gran peligro de muerte y poco a poco los dos tiburones se alejaron. A mí me entusiasma mucho la idea de que no estemos solos en el universo y que haya vida en otros planetas. Le agradezco a San Ramón porque la otra noche, en una borrachera en mi casa, recibí la visita de unos marcianitos muy amistosos.
