When I went to my aunt and uncle's house to cut the Three Kings' Day cake on January 6th, I felt the little figurine in my slice as I took a bite. To avoid paying for tamales on Candlemas Day (since there are so many of us in my family), I tried to hide it in my mouth, but I was already choking.
