En el mes de Agosto a Don Odilón Méndez le picó un alacrán cuando andaba en el campo, aclamó a San Isidro Labrador su divina ayuda y a los pocos días vió recuperada su salud, pudiendo así volver a su oficio de tlachiquero y por tan grande milagro le dedica este humilde retablito. Hidalgo.

In August, Don Odilón Méndez was stung by a scorpion while working in the fields. He invoked Saint Isidore the Farmer for divine help, and within a few days, his health was restored, allowing him to return to his work as a pulque maker.
